Polysole® is a high performance plastic made from plants, that is designed to be compostable. It can be used in sheet and injection molding applications. Polysole’s processability and performance characteristics offer opportunities to cut costs, increase efficiency, provide greater product safety, satisfy consumer demands and reduce our dependence on crude oil.

POLYSOLE TFPolysole® TF grade is an engineered thermoplastic resin that can be extruded and thermoformed similarly to petroleum-based plastics. Readily processed on conventional equipment under standard operating conditions, Polysole® TF can be used in semi-transparent applications such as cold drinking cups and clamshell packaging.

  • Decent clarity for sheet extrusion
  • Engineered durability
  • Energy efficient

POLYSOLE(R) LVPolysole® LV grade is designed specifically for existing PLA processors who are looking to decrease cycle times, increase efficiency and cut costs. PLA is known to be tacky and require longer cycle times. Low Viscosity grade Polysole® offers characteristics that will increase the speed and efficiency of your manufacturing line.

  • Lower Viscosity Material
  • Decreased Cycle Times and Increased Line Efficiency
  • Cost Savings

POLYSOLE(R) XDPolysole® XD grade is a high performance thermoplastic. Our proprietary formulation for eXtra Durability grade Polysole® creates a material that is stronger, more flexible and able to withstand greater impact stresses.

  • Increased impact capacity
  • Greater material flexibility
  • Extra strength
