:TRAVERSE® Biocomposites...

TRAVERSE® is a family of high performance hybrid materials designed to allow manufacturers a staged approach in transitioning to a 100% bio-based material solution, such as POLYSOLE®. Made using a combination of recycled or virgin conventional plastic and natural fibre (bio-based) content, TRAVERSE® is an injection mouldable biocomposite material with outstanding physical properties and ease of processing.




TRAVERSE Recycled
TRAVERSE® Recycled is a combination of recycled conventional plastic (PP, PE, PET, Nylon) and a customized percentage of biobased fibre content. Using wood, hemp, bamboo, rice husks, or other natural fibres, TRAVERSE® Recycled can have between 20% and 60% natural content, offering SOLEGEAR customers the ability to customize the material to their given application.

TRAVERSE Prime
TRAVERSE® Prime is a combination of virgin (new) conventional plastic (PP, PE, PET, Nylon) and a customized percentage of biobased fibre content. Using wood, hemp, bamboo, rice husks, or other natural fibres, along with virgin polymer, TRAVERSE® Prime can have between 20% and 60% natural fibre content. With TRAVERSE® Prime, SOLEGEAR customers now have the ability to customize a biocomposite material to any given application.
